Support Worker

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a support worker in our Domiciliary service within the Lampeter & Tregaron area

What you’ll be doing:

• Currently, we have adults with Dementia, Epilepsy, diabetes, and Learning disabilities.
• You will be supporting 1-1 and at times 2-1.
• Continue to promote positive well-being.
• Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
• Maintain and develop their community links, as well as accessing community and leisure pursuits to support their independent living and life skills.
• Personal care is involved.

Who you are:

• Able to work independently, multitask, organise, and prioritise work to suit the people we support.
• Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
• Ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure
• Quick learner, hands-on, and willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
• Shifts will include Weekends
• Hold a valid manual UK driving license
