Business Development Executive, London (SE1), 9-month FTC, up to £40k with hybrid working

We’re supporting a highly respected and long-established law firm in their search for a Business Development Executive to join their growing and collaborative team. The firm is known for its modern, strategic approach and deep-rooted client relationships across private wealth, property, corporate, and litigation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong legacy and a forward-thinking outlook.

This role is ideal for a confident and well-organised BD professional with at least two years of experience in a law firm. You’ll be working closely with the BD Manager and Director, supporting the delivery of the firm’s five-year growth strategy, and collaborating with partners and fee earners across multiple departments.

You’ll be involved in a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Supporting on pitches and producing high-quality, tailored marketing materials
  • Coordinating and attending BD events and seminars
  • Drafting award and legal directory submissions
  • Assisting with digital campaigns, newsletters, and social media content
  • Maintaining CRM best practice and contributing to relationship management initiatives
  • Leading sector-specific BD projects and contributing to firmwide marketing activities

About You:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a BD role, ideally within a law firm
  • Excellent writing, coordination and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Degree-level education is desirable but not essential
