Are you ready to step into a leadership role where your insights will shape product strategy, marketing performance, and wider commercial decision-making? A household name in retail is seeking an experienced Analytics Manager to lead a high-performing team and embed analytics at the heart of the business.
THE ROLE:
As Analytics Manager, you will take ownership of key data strategy initiatives while mentoring a growing team of analysts. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing and brand teams to deliver strategic insights that drive value and support trade and brand targets. From statistical modelling to process optimisation, you’ll be a go-to expert for uncovering opportunities and delivering business impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of analysts, fostering both technical development and commercial thinking
- Collaborating closely with marketing, BMD, and product teams to deliver analytics that support business priorities
- Building advanced models using techniques such as random forest, linear regression, and k-means clustering
- Translating analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement in data quality and adoption of insights across the organisation
- Identifying opportunities to enrich data assets and embed data-driven thinking across the business
- Staying ahead of industry trends and sharing knowledge to elevate analytics maturity
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years’ experience in analytics roles with strong technical and leadership credentials
- Proficiency in tools such as Python, SQL, and/or R
- Proven experience delivering advanced analytical projects and modelling techniques
- Ability to turn complex insights into compelling stories that influence non-technical stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, from scoping through to delivery
- A track record of mentoring or leading junior analysts and supporting their growth
- Commercial awareness with a focus on business impact and optimisation
