Ardeta Search is proud to be partnering with a high-growth, acquisitive business headquartered in Sheffield, seeking a talented In-House Solicitor to join their expanding legal team. This is a number two role, working closely with the Head of Legal, offering a varied and dynamic caseload across areas such as commercial property, commercial activities and contractual law.

The Role:
As In-House Solicitor, you will work as a key legal business partner, supporting the organisation across real estate, leasing, acquisitions, and wider commercial legal matters. Your role will include:
Property & Real Estate:
- Managing lease negotiations and property transactions across the UK.
- Reviewing Heads of Terms, negotiating leases, licences to alter, agreements to surrender, and collateral warranties.
- Conducting title due diligence, drafting and negotiating agreements for lease, sale, and transfer.
- Providing legal support on acquisitions and disposals.
Commercial & Corporate Support:
- Advising on contractual and regulatory matters, supporting key commercial transactions.
- Ensuring compliance with internal legal frameworks and external regulations.
- Supporting on wider corporate and governance matters as the business continues its growth.
Strategic & Advisory:
- Acting as a trusted legal advisor to internal stakeholders, ensuring commercial and legal risks are managed effectively.
- Managing external legal counsel where required.
About You:
We’re looking for an ambitious solicitor who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
- Strong experience in commercial and/or residential property law would be beneficial
- Exposure to contract law and broader commercial matters is advantageous.
- Would equally suit an individual looking to make a move in house from a high street firm who already has a broad role but looking to move In-House
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and engage with senior stakeholders.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a commercial approach to legal problem-solving.
