Sponsorship Sales Director – Sydney Relocation Sydney (x4 office)My client is a fast-growing events company working across several b2b sectors including Tech, Finance & Government, a unique opportunity has opened up for a high-performing Divisional Sales Director to join and help lead their Sponsorship Sales team during a time of significant growth, this leadership role is ideal for a sales professional with proven success within the event industry who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about mentoring others, driving revenue, and building strategic partnerships whilst managing a team of 4 Sponsorship Sales Managers.

Leadership & Team ManagementAct as the Sales Director, helping drive team strategy and supporting the overall success of the sales department.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4 direct reports within the Sponsorship Sales team.Provide strategic guidance, regular performance feedback, and coaching to support individual and team success.Set and track KPIs, ensure accountability, and support professional development of team members.Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture focused on growth and excellence.Sales& Strategic Growth

• Identify new business opportunities across the APAC region, with a focus on long-term partnerships.• Step in to sell directly to clients when team members are on annual leave or as needed to support team coverage and continuity.

Experience managing a sales team in a target- driven environment, essential within B2B events or similar industry.• A personal track record of exceeding sales targets and securing major partnerships.• Ability to inspire and grow learning talent within a dynamic team environment.• Strategic Sales Acumen: Strong commercial instincts and a consultative, relationship-first sales approach.• Event Travel: Willingness to travel and represent the company at key summits and bespoke events across the region.
