Are you an experienced Venue Sourcing professional with a passion for travel and events? If so, we want YOU to join this growing Venue Finding team in Broome, West Midlands!

We are seeking a Venue Sourcing Account Manager to take charge of sourcing venues for a variety of clients, developing strong relationships, and ensuring exceptional service from start to finish. With your expertise in UK and international venues, negotiation skills, and an eye for detail, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients’ events are a resounding success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Brief Taking: Understand client requirements thoroughly and proactively listen to create tailored venue and destination proposals.
  • Venue Sourcing: Research and identify the perfect venues for each client brief, ensuring a great fit for their brand and event.
  • Negotiation & Financial Targets: Maximise opportunities by negotiating the best commission terms with venues, helping you meet financial targets and deliver cost-effective solutions.
  • Proposal Writing & Delivery: Produce creative, accurate, and detailed proposals within agreed service levels, ensuring they are both client-friendly and comprehensive.
  • Client Liaison & Relationship Development: Build strong, long-term client relationships by attending site visits, preparing account plans, and being a trusted point of contact.
  • Pitching: Support the pitch process, contributing to venue selections and presentation creation.
  • Client Engagement: Use your interpersonal skills to nurture existing relationships and grow new ones, always aiming to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • New Business Development: Assess and qualify new business opportunities to ensure they align with the company’s criteria for success.
  • Venue & Destination Expertise: Constantly stay on top of trends, expanding your knowledge of venues and destinations, both UK and internationally.
  • Team Leadership: Provide line management for a venue sourcing executive, including appraisals and development.
  • Time Management & Prioritisation: Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, delivering on deadlines and meeting SLAs with efficiency and accuracy.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience: At least 3 years in venue finding, ideally in an agency environment.
  • Venue Finding Systems: Experience with venue finding systems such as The Hive and BookIt.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and venues at all levels.
  • Negotiation & Financial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage financial targets effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining quality.
  • IT Proficiency: Strong skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Organisation & Time Management: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple briefs and deadlines under pressure.
  • Self-Driven & Flexible: A proactive and autonomous individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts easily to change.
  • Driving: Due to our rural location, a full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
