Recruitment Brief: Affiliate Manager
Position: Affiliate Manager
Location: Office-based
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)
Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Affiliate Manager to lead the development and execution of our affiliate marketing programme. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced B2C environment—such as ecommerce, fashion, or beauty—and a proven track record of working with affiliate platforms like Awin. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be responsible for everything from onboarding publishers to optimising performance and reporting on results. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the affiliate strategy, with a clear path to grow into a team leadership position as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end management of our affiliate programme, from strategy development to day-to-day execution.
- Recruit, onboard, and nurture relationships with publishers through Awin and other affiliate platforms.
- Negotiate competitive rates and campaign placements that maximise performance and ROI.
- Utilise Awin market insights to identify opportunities, track trends, and benchmark performance.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on key affiliate metrics (traffic, conversion rates, revenue, ROI), providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align affiliate activity with wider marketing and business goals.
- Stay informed on affiliate industry trends, compliance standards, and platform updates to ensure best-in-class execution.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership, highlighting successes, learnings, and recommendations.
- Build the foundation for a growing affiliate team, with future potential to manage and mentor junior team members.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of affiliate marketing experience in a B2C environment (ecommerce, fashion, beauty).
- Hands-on experience with Awin, including publisher onboarding, performance tracking, and market insight analysis.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen, with a track record of building profitable affiliate partnerships.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and optimise for results.
- Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and the ambition to build and scale a high-performing affiliate channel.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- A Russell Group university background in marketing or a related field is preferred.
What We Offer:
- The opportunity to take full ownership of a growing affiliate programme in a high-growth B2C business.
- Career progression, with the potential to grow into a team leadership role.
- A fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative working environment.
- Support from a wider performance marketing team as you scale the channel.
If you’re a proactive, analytical, and commercially minded affiliate specialist ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
