Contentious Construction – Solicitor – London
Construction Disputes Associate – London This recognised international law firm is seeking an Associate to join their growing construction disputes department in London. The team handles a wide range of contentious construction matters, acting for both private and public sector developers. The work covers various major contract forms (JCT, NEC, ICE, FIDIC, PPC, and GC Works) and also involves PFI and bespoke contracts.

Salary: Up to £110,000
Previous Experience: 2 + PQE in contentious construction
Varied Client Base
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues from other UK offices and collaborate with the real estate practice in advising developers, contractors, consultants, and public sector bodies such as central and local government and social housing providers.
Alongside being involved in high level construction claims you will play an active role in business development to help raise the firm’s profile and attract new client

Key Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with 2+ years experience in contentious construction
- Experience in adjudication and UK contentious construction work, or international arbitration in the construction sector
- Strong knowledge of standard construction contracts such as JCT, FIDIC, and NEC
- Demonstrable passion for business development and client relationships
