OVERALL PURPOSE

As a Senior Solutions Manager – Enterprise Payments, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering tailored payment solutions for large-scale enterprise clients. With deep expertise in acquiring, issuing, and payment ecosystems, you will work closely with enterprise customers (e.g., major marketplaces and platforms) to optimize their payment acceptance and processing strategies.

Your analytical mindset and technical acumen will ensure seamless integration of payment solutions while supporting revenue growth and operational efficiency.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

The position reports to the Chief Business Officer. The incumbent will work closely with clients, product managers, integration managers, and development teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Payment Solution Design & Analysis

  • Engage with enterprise clients to assess their acquiring and issuing needs, transaction flows, and operational challenges.
  • Provide data-driven insights on payment optimization, cost structures (e.g., interchange, scheme fees), and settlement flows.
  • Develop tailored solutions incorporating multi-channel payment acceptance, embedded finance, and card issuance strategies.
  • Support ROI-driven proposals, including cost-benefit analysis and compliance considerations.

Technical & Implementation Support

  • Work closely with product, engineering, and external partners to ensure smooth implementation of acquiring/issuing solutions.
  • Assist in API integration planning and troubleshooting for enterprise clients.
  • Provide technical documentation, training, and ongoing support to internal and external stakeholders

Industry & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor trends in payment technology, card schemes, and regulatory changes impacting enterprise payments.
  • Benchmark competitors and industry best practices to refine solution offerings.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to internal teams based on data analysis and market trends.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Educated to a graduate level in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years in payments/fintech, with a strong focus on acquiring, issuing, and large-scale enterprise payment solutions or product development
  • Experience working with major marketplaces, , digital platforms, online-offline retailers .
  • Familiarity with card schemes, payment processors, and API-based payment integrations.
  • Exposure to large corporations from previous Payment/Banking or Business Development careers.
  • Work experience with major card scheme or acquirer is a plus

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of acquiring, issuing, and global payment ecosystems.
  • Ability to interpret transaction data, pricing structures, and risk assessments.
  • Experience with API integrations, payment flows, and enterprise-level payment architecture.
