FS Regulatory / ESG Lawyer. In House Secondment Assignment

Job Description:

We are working very closely with a market-leading Alternative Legal Service Provider that is looking to second a FS Regulatory / ESG Lawyer to a leading Asset Manager for a 9-month assignment.

The successful lawyer will advise on FS Regulatory matters, particularly those with an ESG element.

A hybrid working arrangement is in place, with lawyers spending 3 days a week in the London office.

The assignment is to start ASAP. Lawyers should ideally be available immediately or at very short notice.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales (or another Commonwealth jurisdiction, such as Australia or New Zealand)
• At least 2 years’ PQE
• Extensive experience advising on FS Regulatory matters, particularly related to ESG
• Strong training and post-qualification experience with a leading law firm and/or in-house legal team
• Previous experience in the FS or Asset Management sectors is beneficial but not essential
• The ability to commence a 9-month assignment immediately or on short notice
