Arnett International is seeking a highly experienced FM Senior Manager with an Electrical bias to join a leading airport operations team in the Middle East.

This strategic leadership role offers a rare opportunity to lead the electrical systems function within one of the region’s most dynamic and complex airport environments. As FM Senior Manager – Electrical, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of all medium and low voltage (MV/LV) electrical systems, backup systems, and control systems across a major international airport.

With a strong focus on operational excellence, energy efficiency, asset lifecycle management, and innovative engineering solutions, this position plays a key role in driving a world-class facilities management strategy. You will also lead a multidisciplinary team, manage high-value contracts, and collaborate closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement strategic plans for MV/LV electrical systems service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Manage contract performance, budgets, and cost optimisation across electrical system operations.
  • Oversee asset lifecycle management and support capital investment planning.
  • Champion operational excellence and risk mitigation through proactive and predictive maintenance.
  • Introduce energy-efficient technologies and sustainable engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with airport stakeholders, regulators, and service providers to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in airport facilities management, with deep expertise in electrical systems.
  • Strong technical background in MV/LV systems, compliance standards, and electrical tools and diagnostics.
  • Proven experience in contract management, budget oversight, and performance optimisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Previous experience in the Middle East airport environment is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required.
