What You’ll Be Doing:Translating complex system specifications into firmware design requirements and ensuring seamless integration.Leading firmware development, testing, and simulation to drive system performance.Developing and refining robust verification processes to ensure reliability.Producing key project documentation, including design specs, test plans, and interface definitions.Identifying and resolving technical challenges related to certification, qualification, and safety.Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.Supporting planning, estimations, and design changes at various project stages.Coaching and mentoring junior engineers, with the potential to take on lead roles such as Project Engineering Lead or Work Package Manager.
Requirements:Degree in Electrical/Electronic EngineeringExtensive firmware development experience across the full project lifecycle.FPGA, VHDLStrong background in designing complex electronic systems.Experience with prototyping, testing, and verification of electronic subsystems.Defence, aerospace, or maritime experience preferred.Must be eligible for SC clearance.
