Our Client, a well-established buyout fund, is looking for an Investment Associate to join a leading global investment firm specializing in climate and sustainability-focused initiatives. This role is based in London and will involve working with a highly skilled team committed to driving positive environmental and social impact through strategic investments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in market research and analysis to identify high-potential investment opportunities in the sustainability and climate sectors.
2. Support due diligence processes, financial modeling, and valuation assessments for prospective investments.
3. Work closely with senior team members and portfolio companies to contribute to value creation and long-term strategic growth.
4. Engage with stakeholders, including investors, industry experts, and policymakers, to stay ahead of emerging trends in climate-focused investing.
5. Prepare investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership and decision-makers.
6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and financial targets.

Requirements:

1. Fluency in German and English is essential.
2. 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a related financial sector.
3. Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence.
4. A keen interest in sustainability, climate finance, and impact investing.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
6. Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
7. A degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
