Sales Executive – German Speaking

Our client, a global leader in financial software and managed services, is seeking a German-speaking Sales Executive to join their dynamic London-based team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and is passionate about sales and relationship management within the financial services sector.

About the Role

As a Sales Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint across the DACH region, focusing on both managing existing client relationships and driving new business opportunities. Working alongside a Senior Sales Executive, you will help accelerate revenue growth by identifying prospects, understanding their needs, and offering tailored fintech solutions that enhance middle and back-office efficiency.

You’ll have the chance to work with cutting-edge technology used by the world’s top banks, asset managers, brokers, and payment processors to address complex post-trade and finance operations challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the DACH region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing German-speaking clients.
  • Conduct cold outreach and support broader marketing initiatives to generate pipeline.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and product demos (with pre-sales support).
  • Understand customer pain points and offer the right software solutions.
  • Build, manage, and accurately forecast your sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to deliver tailored offerings.
  • Represent the business professionally at industry events, tradeshows, and conferences.
  • Maintain accurate records and activity tracking in CRM (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Support RFI and RFP processes in collaboration with the technical team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluent in English and German (spoken is a must).
  • Strong experience selling solutions and services to financial institutions in Europe – especially in payments, treasury, finance, risk control, regulatory compliance, and post-trade operations.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated success in bringing in new business.
  • Experience selling to financial institutions and engaging with senior stakeholders or C-level decision-makers.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex fintech solutions and convey their value to clients.
  • Comfortable collaborating across international teams and time zones.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or technology is preferred.
