Are you a Design Engineer with AutoCAD design experience in electrical switchgear systems, looking to kick-start your career with a supportive, family-run company that specialises in bespoke HV and LV solutions, offering full training, hands-on development, and a clear route for progression?

You’ll work closely with a skilled team to design switchgear and control panel systems, support project engineers, and help deliver tailored solutions to some of the most critical infrastructure projects in the UK.
In the role, you will use CAD and ePlan to produce detailed designs for LV systems, ensuring they meet internal and British standards. You’ll support project engineers with parts lists, supplier selections and ensure all technical specs are accurate, compliant, and cost-effective.
This role would suit a Junior Design Engineer with experience in AutoCAD or ePlan and electrical systems, looking to launch your career after university with a supportive, family-run company that specialises in bespoke HV and LV switchgear solutions, offering full training, development, and a clear path to progression.
The Role
- Create CAD designs for LV switchgear and control panels
- Support project engineers on specs and supplier choices
- Ensure designs meet standards and prep production docs
