Are you a Building Surveyor with demonstrable experience in fire safety and building safety compliance?Have you got experience managing and mentoring a team of Surveyors to deliver for public and private sector clients?

We are excited to be working with a Building Safety Specialist located in Nottingham who are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join their company on a full time, permanent basis to lead on the delivery of building surveying services, for public and private sector clients, with an emphasis on fire safety and building safety compliance.

Their ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience as a Building Surveyor, with a Degree, HND, HNC, and/or RICS-Accredited Conversion in Building Surveying. They will also have an understanding and knowledge of a range of Building and Fire Safety compliance regulations. Lead and undertake complex building surveys, fire safety reviews, and compliance assessments across a range of sectors and building typesManage, mentor, and support a team of building surveyorsEnsure high technical standards, CPD development, and performanceAdvise on the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, and relevant statutory duties for Accountable and Principal Accountable personsSupport clients in fulfilling building regulation obligationsEngage with construction lawyers on technical disputes, reports, and expert witness-style reviews related to contractual disputes, Defective Premises Act claims and limitation periodsCollaborate with fire engineers, structural engineers, and MEP teamsOversee project quality, budgets, timelines, and reporting

Degree, HND, HNC, or RICS-Accredited Degree Conversion in Building SurveyingIn-depth understanding of Building Regulations, Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, and Golden Thread requirementsUnderstanding of fire safety design and regulatory compliance for new and existing buildingsFull clean UK driving licence
