Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and expanding Anamore's footprint across the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the construction, remediation, or related sectors, coupled with strong strategic thinking and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the residential and apartment remediation sector.
- Generate leads and develop a robust pipeline of prospects through research, networking, and outreach.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including developers, property managers, and contractors.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and aligning Anamore's solutions to meet them.
- Strategic Growth:
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and execute growth strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
- Proposal and Tender Management:
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and bids tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with operational and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and client satisfaction.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on market trends and customer expectations to enhance offerings.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the construction, remediation, or related sectors.
- Strong network of contacts within property development, construction, or building management industries.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks in remediation or construction is a plus.
