We seek dynamic and driven individuals to join our team at Altrad. As a Graduate Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the success of our company. You will work closely with skilled engineers and professionals, receiving accredited mentorship and support as you expand your skills and expertise to gain Chartered status.
As part of our commitment to nurturing talent and expanding horizons, you will undertake rotational secondments and industry placements in various engineering disciplines, business sectors and sites to ensure a diversified experience, skill enhancement, networking opportunities and personal growth to build a successful career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of engineering projects.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, calculations and drawings under supervision.
- Collaborate with a multi-discipline team and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
- Support senior engineers in project planning, execution, and quality control.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting activities to support project requirements.
- Adhere to industry standards, regulations, best practices and company policies to ensure quality and safety in engineering design.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and practices within the organisation.
- Undertake professional development activities to enhance technical and leadership skills.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an Engineering discipline or related field.
- Previous internship or project experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work autonomously and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and a passion for engineering.
