VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Meat Sales Executive for a major company that specialises in Supply, Distribution and Food Manufacturing.
This is a Full-time position.
Permanent position – Monday – Friday – Position of work is Ballymena.

Responsibilities:
- Provide sales support and cover for the sales function.
- Identify and target new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients while actively identifying opportunities for growth within current accounts.
- Complete all order processing accurately and in accordance with the required timescales.
- Support the Commercial Manager with new and existing opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams, including logistics and planning, to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Visit key stakeholders to increase value, quality and ensure that relationships are maintained.
- Investigate discrepancies and produce relevant reports when required.
- Carry out any other duties as directed by the Commercial Manager.
The Ideal Person:
- Experience in sales, preferably within the food, meat, or FMCG industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or construction industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of meat products and the foodservice industry is a plus.
