Civil Engineer

My client is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team on critical infrastructure projects involving piping systems, electrical substations, and tunnelling works around the London area. This role is ideal for a technically strong, focused engineer with site experience and a solid grasp of construction methodologies as well as site supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate civil works related to piping, substations, and tunnel construction
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering specifications, and project timelines
• Support field teams with technical input, QA/QC, and contractor supervision
• Liaise with stakeholders, utilities, and multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 3+ years’ experience in similar roles, preferably on infrastructure projects in the UK
• Strong understanding of site-based civil works, including excavation, trenching, and installation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
