An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Manager to join a forward-thinking fresh produce business based in Teynham, Kent. This role is perfect for someone passionate about delivering high-quality, ethically sourced fresh produce and ready to take ownership of product management across third-party facilities.
The Role:As Product Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the company’s short and long-term growth strategy. You’ll manage a variety of products – with a key focus on Top Fruit – ensuring exceptional quality, strong supplier relationships, and seamless operations from sourcing through to customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee product quality, legality, and safety across third-party sites.
Collaborate closely with commercial, technical, and procurement teams.
Drive product utilisation strategies and reduce wastage.
Support continuous improvement processes and performance KPIs.
Provide cover for the Senior Product Manager when required.
Liaise with growers, packers, and suppliers to maintain top standards.
Support sustainability and ethical sourcing goals in every aspect of the role.
About You:
- Previous experience in product or quality management within fresh produce.
- Strong understanding of the UK food supply chain and third-party logistics.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Organised, proactive, and passionate about sustainability and ethical sourcing.
- Able to work collaboratively across operations, technical, and commercial functions.
