Job Title: Psychiatrist – ADHD ServiceService Care Solutions are working in partnership with our established client, a leading UK ADHD service to recruit an experienced Psychiatrist providing specialist Assessment and Diagnosis support. This is a contract opportunity.
Contract: FlexibleContract Type: RemoteMonday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm
Flexible working: This is a hybrid role of both face to face and virtual working which, however can be worked at any time within our operational hours between 08:00-20:00, 7 days per week, enabling ultimate flexibility.
Working Pattern: The working pattern is open to negotiation, the role is clinic based with administrative offices also. Hours can be flexible across the 7-day working week and between 08:00 and 20:00 daily. You will be required to provide Adult ADHD assessments and if required, the initiation of medication via their electronic prescribing process. Main Duties: Working collaboratively with the Clinical Lead, Head of service and support team to assess, diagnose and treat Adult patients with a potential diagnosis of ADHD in a multidisciplinary setting.
Differentiate ADHD from other conditions with overlapping symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and other behavioural disorders.Provide on-going support to the Independent Medical Prescribers (IMP) responsible for monitoring ADHD medications.Support the Independent Medical Prescriber (IMP) to evaluate the effectiveness of prescribed medications and making adjustments when necessary.
