Location: Oxford Contract: 42 weeks per year Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week Salary: £35,000 per annum + mileage

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Relief Chef Manager to join our growing team. This is a dynamic role supporting the Operations Manager across a portfolio of educational sites between Banbury and Heathrow. Ideal for a flexible, organised chef leader who thrives in a varied and rewarding environment.

Relief Chef Manager Key Responsibilities

• Support kitchen operations across multiple sites within the designated region
• Deliver high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service
• Provide hands-on cooking support where needed
• Assist in training and developing on-site kitchen teams
• Assist with the mobilisation of new contracts
• Maintain compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
• Adapt to various site needs while working independently or as part of a team

Relief Chef Manager Requirements

• Proven chef management experience (preferably within the education sector)
• Excellent culinary skills and a strong understanding of kitchen operations
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
• Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region
