About the Role

As a Project Controls Engineer, you will be at the forefront of delivering critical projects within the defence sector. You will ensure effective project planning, risk management, and progress reporting for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimise Project Plans – Validate and enhance contractor schedules using Primavera P6 to maintain project integrity
• Data-Driven Decision Making – Gather and analyse project control data from planning and cost teams
• Lifecycle Oversight – Manage the entire project lifecycle, including pre- and post-contract stages
• Risk & Impact Assessment – Collaborate with risk teams to provide accurate data and update registers
• Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to track progress and resolve issues

• Primavera P6 Proficiency – Strong skills in planning, scheduling, and managing project timelines
• Technical Knowledge – In-depth understanding of WBS, CBS, earned value methodology, and reporting techniques
