Programme Manager
(Legacy System Transformation)
18 month contract
We're looking for an experienced Programme Manager to drive the decommissioning of a legacy CRM system as part of a wider, organisation-wide transformation. This is a unique opportunity to oversee one of the most ambitious change initiatives in the UK charity sector.
You'll lead a complex, high-impact programme, shaping strategy, managing key stakeholders, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth transition to new systems. You'll bring strong programme management experience—ideally having overseen the decommissioning or transformation of legacy CRM, ERP, or data platforms in large, matrixed organisations. (SAP is a must)
What you’ll do:
- Lead and deliver the full programme lifecycle, from business case to transition
- Establish and manage governance, budgets, and reporting structures
- Collaborate across functions and with external partners to ensure successful outcomes
- Champion a high-performance, inclusive, change-positive culture
- Anticipate and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
What you’ll bring:
- Experience delivering complex transformation programmes
- Proven success decommissioning or replacing legacy platforms (SAP implementation experience is a requirement)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Confidence navigating change and leading teams through ambiguity
