Location: British Sugar, Wissington, Norfolk

Start Date: 28th April 2025

Contract Length: 4 weeks

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 10 hours paid per day

Rate: Negotiable (depending on experience)

Travel/Lodge Allowance: Available for non-local candidates

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Welder to carry out structural repair works in confined space environments as part of a site maintenance team at a major industrial facility.

You will be working on cracked components inside process areas using MMA (stick welding), with additional support to MIG-based works if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute welding repairs using MMA (stick welding) techniques
• Work confidently within medium-risk confined spaces
• Support general maintenance tasks in collaboration with other operatives
• Adhere to site safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Medium Risk Confined Space certification (essential)
• Proven experience in MMA welding
• Comfortable working in tight or confined areas
• MIG welding experience (desirable but not essential)
