Senior Test Engineer

My client is an award-winning company in Cambridge that produces advanced electronics for security services. They produce equipment for mission-critical communications and are widely used by UK and German security services.

Recent commercial success means they’re looking to continue to scale production, and they’re looking for a Senior Test Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Developing test methods and test scripts in Python.
• Manual testing of devices.
• Researching and implementing AI/LLM tools.
• Analysing and investigating results of test issues.

Requirements:

• Excellent Python scripting experience.
• Experience with embedded systems
• Good understanding of networking interfaces such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi and UART.
• Experience with Android is preferable.

The basic salary for this role is looking to be between £50,000 and £60,000 depending on experience.
