Project Lead Engineer

• Lead the design, development, and verification of products through the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and direction, ensuring the team works effectively across different engineering disciplines to meet project goals.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for the customer, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project.
• Generate and manage detailed Engineering Management Plans, setting clear expectations for deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.
• Ensure strong engineering governance throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining adherence to processes and quality requirements.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risks and opportunities, developing strategies to minimize risks while capturing potential benefits.
• Lead bid support efforts, working with the bid team to deliver competitive proposals that meet customer needs.
• Oversee configuration control and ensure all technical aspects of the product and project are maintained and tracked.

• Strong skills in managing customer expectations, avoiding scope creep, and delivering projects within agreed parameters.
• Excellent technical presentation and document writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing projects with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring all aspects are delivered according to specifications.
• Strong problem-solving ability, capable of addressing challenges efficiently and effectively throughout the project.
