Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised tutoring sessions to students in the Abingdon, Wallingford, Wantage, and Didcot areas (and surrounding villages).
- Create engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Maintain strong, active communication with students, parents, and the Alpha Team.#
Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Maths or related field.
- Commitment to Students: At Alpha, we believe in supporting students until they’re ready to progress independently. Dedication to helping students achieve their goals is paramount to us.
- Full DBS Check: You must be able to provide proof of your DBS certificate.
- Subject Expertise: Strong understanding of the curriculum, exam boards and effective teaching methods.
- Teaching Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion: Passion for teaching and helping young students succeed.
- Location: Ability to travel within the Abingdon, Wallingford, Wantage, and Didcot areas (and smaller surrounding villages).
- Full Clean Driving Licence Required
- References Required.
Note for Students: We welcome undergraduate students studying mathematics to apply for tutoring positions. However, due to their level of study, they will only be able to tutor students up to GCSE level.
