The Role

• Join a highly performing Civil law team, working in the Glenrothes office of a regional firm which provides representation in the Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline Sheriff Courts.
• Handle a varied case load in most areas of civil litigation with a leaning towards the Family court such as residence/contact/separation and divorce, Children’s referrals, Employment and Mental Health tribunal representation, Guardianship applications under Adults with Incapacity, Interdicts actions, Simple procedure, and debt recovery.
• This position can offer responsibility for your own case load as well as assisting partners.

Ideal Requirements

• 2 years PQE.
• Previous experience in civil sheriff court work is preferred.
• A dynamic solicitor with sound ability and a strong perspective.
• Hardworking, enthusiastic, outgoing, and a team player with excellent client service skills.
• Natural at building rapport with clients and colleagues, quickly gaining their confidence with knowledge and professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are vital, with the ability to handle matters with empathy and sensitivity being key.
