Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development of a dedicated team.
- Ensure effective systems for reporting, monitoring, and maintaining nursery operations.
- Manage occupancy levels, budgets, and financial targets to meet nursery goals.
- Oversee accurate use of the Connect Childcare database system.
- Ensure all extra-curricular activities align with the EYFS requirements.
- Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios and optimize staff deployment across the nursery.
- Take full responsibility for safeguarding, child protection, and the well-being of the children.
- Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum in a creative and impactful way.
- Foster strong relationships with external professionals and the Nursery SENDCo team.
- Ensure a safe and compliant recruitment process for all staff members.
- Create weekly rotas and attendance registers to ensure smooth operation.
- Provide clear policies and procedures, ensuring all staff are supported in their roles.
- Promote the physical health and well-being of every child in the nursery.
