The Role

As a Hybrid Cloud Statutory Expert, you will be responsible for Compliance Strategy & Framework, Risk Management & Audits, Policy Development & Implementation, Collaboration & Training and Continuous Improvement.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement industry and country specific compliance frameworks for hybrid cloud environments.
  2. Ensure alignment with global regulatory standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX, FedRAMP.
  3. Monitor changes in industry and country specific regulations and update policies accordingly.
  4. Identify compliance risks associated with hybrid cloud deployments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  5. Conduct regular audits of hybrid cloud systems to ensure adherence to industry and country specific statutory requirements.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during compliance reviews.
  7. Define and enforce data protection policies across hybrid cloud platforms.
  8. Implement security controls to safeguard sensitive information in public and private clouds.
  9. Establish governance models for access management, data residency, and encryption.
  10. Work closely with legal, IT security, and operations teams to address compliance gaps.
  11. Train cross-functional teams on compliance best practices for hybrid cloud environments.
  12. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies during inquiries or inspections.
  13. Leverage automation tools to streamline compliance processes (e.g., monitoring, reporting).
  14. Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance compliance capabilities in hybrid cloud ecosystems.

Your Profile

Key Skills/ Knowledge/Experience

  1. Professional experience in regulatory compliance within IT or cloud environments.
  2. Proven Expertise in statutory compliance requirements for specific industry verticals (e.g., BFSI/Healthcare/Manufacturing/LSHC etc) and regions (US/UK/EU etc.).
  3. In-depth knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  4. Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
  5. Proficiency in audit tools and compliance management platforms.
  6. Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and mitigation planning.
  7. Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  8. Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to articulate statutory and compliance concepts.
