William James Recruitment is pleased to present this excellent opportunity for a Competition Litigation Associate to join a global law firm in the firm’s London office.
The Role
Our client is one of the world’s leading law firms, with a commitment to delivering innovative and high quality legal services to a diverse range of clients including financial institutions, top Fortune and FTSE companies.
Our client’s Competition team is a market leader in this field and is looking for a talented and motivated lawyer to join the dynamic team in London. In this role, you will work on high-stakes competition disputes arising out of infringements of EU and UK competition law. The team acts for the firm’s largest international clients handling multijurisdictional competition disputes before the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal and the High Court, including standalone and follow-on claims, and individual and collective proceedings.
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor between 3 to 5 years’ PQE with experience working on competition law matters, including antitrust disputes and related litigation.

The Candidate
- England & Wales Qualified Solicitor between 2 – 5 Years PQE
- Competition experience is required
- Ability to work to deadlines/targets, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
- Strong ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Excellent academic background and training at a City law firm
