Electrical Project Manager

About the Role:We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Canary Wharf, managing an Electrical Fit-out project. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of electrical installations – from planning and procurement to execution and handover – ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion.
2. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
3. Develop project schedules, resource plans, and financial forecasts.
4. Ensure compliance with BS7671, Health & Safety regulations, and project-specific requirements.
5. Manage procurement of materials, labour, and services.
6. Track project progress and report to senior management.
7. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any technical or logistical issues.
8. Prepare and present documentation including RAMS, variations, and final handover packs.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally in commercial or infrastructure projects.
2. Qualified Electrician background (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2, etc.).
3. SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS card required.
4. Strong understanding of electrical design, installations, and testing procedures.
5. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Proficient with MS Project, Excel, and project management software.
