ROLE OF THE JOBWorking as part of a small team delivering repairs and maintaining the housing stock throughout Northumberland you will be expected to undertake;General repairs and maintenance to housing stock, fitting kitchens, hanging doors, fencing, skirting architrave, repairing changing locks to doors and windows, cladding, facias soffits, flooring including joists, garage doors, bath panels & associated boxings.Working at height ie scaffolds and off ladders.Assist with other trades.Multi skilled worker with knowledge and skills in small plumbing and plastering repairs.To maintain works vehicle, keep in clean and tidy condition fill in logbooks as required.REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOBNVQ L3 (essential) – City & GuildsExperience of working as a Joiner in the building trade all aspects of joineryExperience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council (desirable)Associated trade skills of plaster patching, minor plumbing works tiling etc.Experience of delivering multi-trade workEnsure that all work is carried out safely in line with H&S regulations, policies, and procedures.Good organisational skillsExperience of keeping jobs on trackThe drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficientlyPrepared to go on the on-call rota for out of hours repairsFull clean driving LicenseAs you will be working within Customer’s homes this role requires a DBS check
