Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Primary School in Lewisham Are you enthusiastic about supporting young learners and helping them thrive in their education? Our inclusive primary school in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students while working in a welcoming and supportive environment.About the Role As an LSA, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with a variety of learning needs. Your role will be pivotal in fostering an engaging, inclusive atmosphere where every child can succeed academically and personally.Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons that support all learners.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group assistance to students who need additional support.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe and valued.
  • Monitor and track student progress, offering encouragement and feedback to aid development.
  • Adapt learning resources and activities to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and carers to support holistic development.
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to ensure every child reaches their potential.
