You will need to be confident in working withchildren whose presenting behaviours can be challenging to ensure goodprogress, both academically and socially and will be able to teach a range ofliteracy based subjects to include English, PSHE, citizenship and be able todeliver our ‘Passport for Life’ curriculum to develop a range of vital lifeskills. As a classroom teacher you will plan and deliver learning activitiesthat meet the diverse needs of the students you work with, embedding ourRelationships and Behaviour Policy as part of your everyday practice. The successful candidate will need a highlevel of resilience and a commitment to helping every child achieve more thanthey believe is possible.What the school offers its staff We can offer:

Further details about the role Voyage Learning Campus is based inWeston-super-Mare. We are the Primary and Secondary Pupil Referral Unit andMedical Provision for young people in North Somerset. We are passionatechampions of vulnerable young people in North Somerset who need additionalsupport to help them transition to the next phase of their learning.This role is for 12 months’ maternity leave cover, or sooner upon the post-holder’s return.Commitment to safeguarding The Voyage Learning Campus is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and children.
