French and Spanish Teacher Sought for Prestigious Secondary School in Cambridge We are delighted to collaborate with a highly-regarded secondary school in Cambridge, known for its commitment to academic excellence and fostering a love for languages. They are seeking a passionate and qualified French and Spanish Teacher to join their dedicated Modern Foreign Languages department on a full-time, permanent basis.The Opportunity This position offers a unique chance to inspire young minds and cultivate their linguistic abilities and cultural understanding. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant learning environment and shape the future of language education within the school.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and effective French and Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum and school’s pedagogical approach.
  • Foster a love for language learning and cultural exploration among students, encouraging them to develop their communication skills and global perspectives.
  • Assess student progress through various assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in extracurricular language activities, fostering a vibrant language community within the school.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in French, Spanish, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary level.
  • Native or near-native fluency in both French and Spanish.
