Forklift Driver / Labourer

Our client is seeking a Semi Skilled Labourer to help keep their Fabrication shop tidy and organised during a 4-6 week contract. The suitable candidate must have a valid forklift licence with operating experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating forklifts in a safe and efficient manner
• Assisting with loading and unloading materials
• Labouring and general tidying duties
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Supporting skilled tradespersons as required
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
• Performing basic maintenance tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

• Valid forklift licence
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Good physical stamina and ability to handle manual tasks
• Flexibility to work a 46-hour week schedule

Contract Details:

• Contract duration: 4-6 weeks
• Work schedule: 46 hours per week (4 days x 10 hours, 1 day x 6 hours)
• 15/h PAYE plus 1.81/h holiday pay (can be accrued or advanced) or 20.09/h Umbrella co
• Must be able to start work at 0700 in Renfrew
