Role overview:Within our creative department, we are looking to grow with the addition of a Strategic Creative Copywriter. You will play a pivotal role in developing impactful short-form content, creative propositions, and branding. You will collaborate closely with our strategy and account management teams to ensure all creative outputs align with client objectives. We are looking for a creative thinker with excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate great ideas with internal teams and clients. This role will be based in London Victoria 3 days a week, with 2 days a week remote working, serving clients from various sectors including tech, sports, retail, beauty, energy, and banking.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and impactful short-form copy, including creative propositions, branding, and video scripts, that align with client objectives and messaging goals.
- Collaborate closely with the strategy team to ensure that all creative outputs are grounded in strategic insights and client objectives, enhancing the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with both the creative and strategy teams to develop content ideas that drive client campaigns and enhance brand storytelling.
- Present ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively to clients and internal teams, adapting communication styles to suit different audiences.
- Edit and refine copy to maintain high-quality standards, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating fresh ideas into your work.
About the candidate:
- Proven experience as a copywriter, ideally within a creative agency setting, focusing on short-form content.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and effectiveness in taglines and propositions.
- Excellent understanding of branding, marketing, and audience engagement strategies (experience with Employer Branding beneficial but not essential).
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to articulate concepts and ideas effectively.
- Appreciate great creative work, show passion, and have a great sense of humour.
