Associate Director | Placing senior financial talent into PE situations
Axon Moore are currently partnered with an investor backed SaaS business who are overseeing significant growth in the UK and abroad. Given the exciting plans in place which will likely involve a PE transaction, we’re seeking a Head of Commercial Finance and Data to lead the FP&A function and a newly developed Data Analytics team alongside an industry recognised CFO.
Role: Head of Commercial Finance and Data
Location: Manchester or London with significant remote working
The Role
- Leading the commercial finance function including building a high performing team
- Managing and supporting a newly created Data Analytics team
- Leading and designing the company’s data strategy
- Driving the effective use of data and MI to drive decision making and overall strategy
- Business partnering with non-finance to drive efficiencies and results
- Production of financial models
- Delivery of board packs including commentary
- Harnessing PowerBi to build dashboards and interpreting significant volumes of data
- Alongside the CFO, supporting an eventual PE transaction
- Ensuring a fit for purpose commercial function in line with business growth
The Individual
- Fully qualified accountant
- Experience of data analytics including PowerBi, SQL and Python
- Strong background of data modelling and visualisation
- Highly commercial with the ability to add strategic value
- Ability to partner with and influence senior decision makers including the board and investors
- Ideally have experience within SaaS or technology businesses
- Experience of operating within PE is highly desirable
