Are you a Systems Engineer with a background in mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems? We’re working with several leading UK defence organisations who are looking for skilled engineers to join high-impact programmes across a variety of domains.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of engineering innovation on complex, mission-critical systems. Projects range from:
- Missile Seekers & Guidance Systems
- Weapon & Launch Platforms
- Surveillance & Detection Systems
- General Systems Engineering (Non-IT)
You’ll be involved in the full systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements capture and design through to integration, test, and validation.
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to speak with engineers who bring a strong foundation in systems thinking and experience across the full engineering lifecycle. You might come from a background in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or mechatronic systems, and ideally from a regulated industry such as Defence, Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, or Rail.
Ideal candidates will have experience in some of the following areas:
- Requirements engineering – elicitation, definition, analysis, and management
- System architecture and design – producing functional and physical architecture
- Integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) – supporting system build, test planning, and execution
- Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) using tools such as SysML, Cameo, or similar
- Working knowledge of DOORS or other requirements management tools
- Experience working within frameworks such as ISO, ARP, or MOD standards
- A collaborative mindset – comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams including hardware, software, and project stakeholders
- Strong communication skills – able to interface with both technical and non-technical colleagues, and present engineering concepts clearly
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing your own time effectively across site and remote working
- Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (typically minimum 5 years’ UK residency)
