Senior Family Lawyer – Leeds
We are currently seeking a Senior Family Lawyer to join a highly regarded law firm in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor or legal executive with 3+ years PQE to step into a newly created position where you’ll have the opportunity to step into a leadership role and help grow and shape a team underneath you.
The Role
As a Senior Family Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling a broad range of family and childcare matters, including:
- Care Proceedings and PLO matters
- Divorce and financial settlements
- Private Law Children cases
- Domestic abuse cases, including Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders
- General family law matters, including cohabitation and disputes involving unmarried couples
- Supervise junior team members and contributing to the firm’s continued expansion.
Requirements:
- Have at least 3 years PQE in family law
- Be confident leading and supervising a growing team
- Work effectively both independently and within a team
- Be competent and willing to undertake advocacy
- Have a following (preferred but not essential)
- Be eager to work towards panel accreditation
- Have strong networking and business development skills
