Senior Family Lawyer – Leeds

We are currently seeking a Senior Family Lawyer to join a highly regarded law firm in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor or legal executive with 3+ years PQE to step into a newly created position where you’ll have the opportunity to step into a leadership role and help grow and shape a team underneath you.

The Role

As a Senior Family Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling a broad range of family and childcare matters, including:

• Care Proceedings and PLO matters
• Divorce and financial settlements
• Private Law Children cases
• Domestic abuse cases, including Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders
• General family law matters, including cohabitation and disputes involving unmarried couples
• Supervise junior team members and contributing to the firm’s continued expansion.

Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years PQE in family law
• Be confident leading and supervising a growing team
• Work effectively both independently and within a team
• Be competent and willing to undertake advocacy
• Have a following (preferred but not essential)
• Be eager to work towards panel accreditation
• Have strong networking and business development skills
