Role Overview
Exciting opportunity for an experienced O&M Manager in the renewable energy sector to lead operational excellence and drive commercial success of offshore wind assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high-performing offshore operations and maintenance team
- Ensure operational compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Manage O&M budgets and maintenance activity planning
- Coordinate with technical support teams and external contractors
- Implement health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Optimize asset performance and operational efficiency
- Manage interfaces with network operators and forecasting processes
Required Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record in power plant operations and asset management
- Safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely minimum, NEBOSH preferred)
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles
- Experience in wind turbine/rotating plant maintenance
- Contract management and budget preparation skills
- Line management experience
- Full UK driving licence
Desired Experience
- High Voltage operating procedures knowledge
- Risk management in wind turbine operations
- Previous accreditation as Authorised Person under safety rules
- Marine working practices understanding
