Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager- Offshore Wind

Location – North East

Role Overview

Exciting opportunity for an experienced O&M Manager in the renewable energy sector to lead operational excellence and drive commercial success of offshore wind assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop high-performing offshore operations and maintenance team
  • Ensure operational compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards
  • Manage O&M budgets and maintenance activity planning
  • Coordinate with technical support teams and external contractors
  • Implement health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Optimize asset performance and operational efficiency
  • Manage interfaces with network operators and forecasting processes

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven track record in power plant operations and asset management
  • Safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely minimum, NEBOSH preferred)
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles
  • Experience in wind turbine/rotating plant maintenance
  • Contract management and budget preparation skills
  • Line management experience
  • Full UK driving licence

Desired Experience

  • High Voltage operating procedures knowledge
  • Risk management in wind turbine operations
  • Previous accreditation as Authorised Person under safety rules
  • Marine working practices understanding
