Now, they’re looking for a Maintenance Support Technician to join their team in a hybrid role that combines hands-on product expertise with strong people skills and a keen eye for technical detail.
About the Role
This is a hybrid support role requiring weekly travel to the Dublin facility to inspect, oversee, and carry out minor repairs on a very limited number of returned or defective products. You'll also liaise directly with customers and wholesale partners , provide technical support and guidance, and communicate with US customs where needed to address occasional shipping or product clearance issues.
This role requires a problem-solver with a technical mindset , someone who’s comfortable speaking with customers and supporting both domestic and international partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to the Dublin facility (1–2 times weekly) to inspect and repair returned units.
- Liaise with US customs to resolve any issues related to product entry.
- Provide support and training to wholesale partners and individual customers.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers experiencing technical issues.
- Handle the occasional product recall or return , inspecting and identifying root causes.
- Work closely with the COO and Sales Manager to report findings and assist in continuous improvement efforts.
Ideal Candidate
- Technically minded with a hands-on, practical approach to problem solving.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a technical support, maintenance, or product troubleshooting role is an advantage.
- Residing in Northern Ireland and within commutable distance to North Dublin as required.
- Able to work independently and take initiative when faced with unfamiliar problems.
- A proactive, customer-first attitude and a passion for solving issues efficiently.
