Building Management Systems Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated BMS (Building Management System) Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Building Management Systems across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and configure BMS systems (e.g., Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, etc.)
• Lead commissioning and testing of BMS installations on-site.
• Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of existing systems.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver projects to a high standard.
• Ensure systems are compliant with relevant standards and health & safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and training where required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a BMS Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control logic.
• Hands-on experience with one or more BMS platforms (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Trend, Siemens Desigo).
• Ability to read and interpret control schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).
• CSCS/ECS Card and relevant site certifications desirable.
