We have an amazing opportunity for you to join as a Consultant or a Specialist within Dermatology for community services in Manchester area. We will also consider consultants on a full or part time basis.You will have 12 months of experience in undertaking dermatological procedures without supervision in the NHS.
Contribute to the service and referring GPs through developing and delivering education and training.Seeing surgical and follow up patients.
A minimum of 12 Months’ experience undertaking dermatological procedures without supervision in the NHS.Good time keeping skills to ensure the clinics run smoothly and on time.
*The position is subject to a successful disclosure at the appropriate level from Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and the provision of your right to work documentation.
Monday to Sunday – Happy to consider any days and times you have availableInclusionsMinor Surgical ProceduresMild-moderate inflammatory skin disease in adults and children including Eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus, urticaria etc.Suspected allergic contact dermatitis (for assessment prior to consideration of patch testing – currently requiring external referral)Hair and nail disordersLow risk BCCs on trunk and limbs in line with NICE skin cancer guidelines 2010Benign skin lesions requiring surgical procedures.This means they can receive the finest care and treatments for them. We aim to meet the growing demands in healthcare by working extensively to support the NHS.
