Automotive Assembly Operative

We are currently recruiting for a number of Automotive Assembly Operatives to join a UK leading manufacturer at their top class site in Hixon, Staffordshire (ST18). These roles are long-term temp to perm opportunities.

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamicmanufacturing and engineering environment, with a company that promotes from within, and has many exciting opportunities ahead.

• Having your own car/motorbikeis essentialdue to the location of thework.
• A full week ofpaid training is provided within an on-sitestate of the art training centre.

Automotive Assembly Operative key job details:

• Monday to Thurs:08:00 to17:00, Fridays:08:00 to14:00.
• 12.21ph, weekly pay
• Overtime is available and paid at premium
• Temp to perm opportunity

Automotive Assembly Operative key job details:

• Operate hand and air powered tools to complete assemblies and undertake fitting of completed parts to specifications
• Working as part of a small production team to meet production deadlines for your stage
• Ensuring all supplies, materials, and tools are available for your team
• Quality checking assemblies and fittings
• Comply with health and safety rules at all times

Automotive Assembly Operative person specification:

• You must have your own car or motorbike due to the location of the work
• Previous experience of using hand and air tools is preferable but not essential due to thorough on the job training processes.
• A real keen attitude to learn new skills is a must, this company will invest time into your development from day one.
• Good English level is required
• Must be comfortable working in a busy production environment
