Head of Sales – iGaming & Travel Sectors

Role Overview:
As the Head of Sales – iGaming & Travel, you will lead the sales efforts in two highly competitive and fast-paced sectors: online gaming and travel. Your goal is to drive revenue growth by acquiring and managing key accounts within both industries, including gaming platforms, travel service providers, and related operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for both sectors, identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Ensure payment solutions meet the unique needs of high-risk merchants in iGaming and travel.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior executives, payment managers, and decision-makers.
- Lead and grow a high-performing sales team with coaching, training, and strategic direction.
- Drive growth by negotiating high-value contracts and increasing transaction volumes.
- Expand presence in both regulated and emerging markets.
- Stay up to date on market trends, compliance requirements, and evolving regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (risk, compliance, product, and technology) to deliver seamless payment solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and expos.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities using data-driven insights.
- Optimise the sales pipeline through effective lead generation strategies and CRM management.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in sales leadership roles within payments, targeting high-risk sectors (gaming and travel).
- Deep understanding of the iGaming and travel ecosystems, including regulatory and payment challenges.
- Proven track record in acquiring/managing accounts in high-risk industries and driving revenue growth.
- Experience with various payment methods (credit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, alternative payments).
- Established network in both sectors, including operators and service platforms.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience closing high-value deals in competitive markets.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales performance tools.
- Data-driven decision-maker with analytical skills to enhance sales strategies.
- Knowledge of customer acquisition strategies in both sectors is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
