Role: Electrical Project Manager

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000
An established M&E contractor with a 45+ year track record is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team for a multi-million MEP design and build project in the Goodwood area. This role will involve overseeing the electrical package on a major manufacturing facility extension, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-value outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Attend project start-up and coordination meetings.
- Become fully familiar with project specifications and client expectations.
- Collate and manage technical submittals and ensure timely approvals.
- Raise and manage RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Oversee the labour tracker and workforce scheduling.
- Maintain and report weekly progress, managing variations and change control.
- Liaise with main contractors and on-site client teams to ensure alignment.
- Coordinate delivery and installation of all plant and electrical equipment.
- Ensure material availability to maintain installation progress.
- Manage construction and commissioning programmes, including implementation of the site commissioning plan.
- Create and maintain project snag lists and continuous improvement logs.
- Oversee project handover processes and documentation systems.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure timely delivery.
- Attend site meetings and manage actions through to completion.
- Report and implement any innovative solutions or project-specific advancements to senior management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in an Electrical Project Manager role, ideally with a background in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering multi-million-pound electrical packages.
- Experience managing large-scale MEP design and build projects.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills.
- A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management is preferred.
- Ability to manage and motivate subcontractor teams.
